About this blog
WHAT IS A SCREENPLAY?
The screenplay is a "story" written so that it can be told with pictures.
Theater, puppetry, advertising, cinema, need a script that will guide any production. It may not be like a novel, and it may not be literary, but it is the imprint of its fictional author through dialogue. A screenplay is a few pages from a movie pre-production.
WHO AND HOW CAN BECOME A SCREENWRITER?
Anyone can become a screenwriter as long as you are passionate about this demanding field of cinema. As with any job, the person concerned should have some knowledge (eg scriptwriting / directing terms). Βut, remember that too much knowledge is killing the author's imagination!
To become a screenwriter you have to work hard. Focus on a movie genre (eg sci-fi) and try to write a same-genre screenplay. Initially you have to try too get at the already existing character of cinema and wrote a new story about it. Read some scripts from major movie productions. There are enough ways to learn something, as long as you want it!
WHY I MADE THIS BLOG?
As I was learning more and more about cinema and its potential, I realized that I could not keep that knowledge to myself so I created my own blog. In this site you will find information about my work as a screenwriter and how you can become a capable writer as well. I will be constantly updating the site material with new information and educational materials.
